Leona Burns Ministries is an intercessory prayer-focused ministry dedicated to emphasizing the power and necessity of prayer in the lives of believers. Rooted in faith and guided by the Holy Spirit, this ministry serves as a vessel to usher in God’s presence, prepare hearts for worship, and stand in the gap for individuals, communities, and nations.

 

Leona Burns’ spiritual journey began at an early age, as she was dedicated as an infant at Mount Olivet Baptist Church in New York City. Raised within the church, she was blessed with the foundational knowledge of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost during her early elementary years. This early introduction to faith planted seeds of purpose that would later grow into a deep and unwavering commitment to intercessory prayer.

Wellness Ministry

Our wellness ministry is focused on creating an environment where people can be healed, nurtured, and can recover both physically and spiritually by way of exercise and prayer.

Hunger Relief

Our hunger relief ministry is dedicated to feeding and nourishing the unhoused both by sustenance, prayer, and counseling.

The Re-Entry Initiative

The Re-Entry Initiative will focus on providing comprehensive support for returning citizens including employment services, skills training, entrepreneurship training, and access to crucial wraparound services such as, skill assessments, resume writing, end to end interview preparation, and dress for success.
